Sending a notice

Use the contact form and choose “Copyright”. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), a notice should include:

1. a description of the protected work (with several works, a sample list will do);
2. the precise URL here where it shows up;
3. your contact data (name, postal address, phone, email);
4. your honest, good-faith view that the use of the work here was never cleared by the holder of the rights, by a representative, or by any statute;
5. a further sentence, made under penalty of perjury, confirming that your facts are accurate and that you hold the copyright yourself or represent whoever holds it;
6. your signature, on paper or in electronic form.

Streams inside the chat

Whatever is shown or typed on the partner cam site behind the Start button stays on that company’s systems. Complaints about such streams therefore belong with that site; nobody else can take them down.

Counter-notices

If you think something was taken down in error, the contact form also accepts counter-notices. Name the removed item and its old URL, add your contact data, a statement under penalty of perjury that you hold a good faith belief the takedown was a mistake or hit the wrong material, your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court that covers your address, and a signature.

Repeat cases

A source that turns out to infringe more than once is no longer quoted, linked or used anywhere on this site.
